Please note the 'Delete' will not only clear you text field but also delete the audio recording file. Each time you press Record the new audio will be appended tp the existing audio. If you enable 'Store Audio Tracks' switch, Dictate will also store an audio recording of your dictations. If you disable it your text is stored locally on your device. If you enable 'Store on iCloud' switch, all your text will be stored on your iCloud Drive. Please note that when you delete Dictate from your device your texts are also lost. Text zones B and C always store your text locally on your device. If you don't have more than one device you can safely switch iCloud Sync off. Otherwise it will throw errors each time you try to dictate new text. To use this feature you need to be logged in into your iCloud account and you need to have given permission for Dictate to access it. If it shows an "A" it does not synchronize to iCloud, if it shows a recycle icon it stores your text in a private container in your iCloud. Text zone A is a special syncronisation text zone. For details please see the 'Setup Screen' section below. You can think of each text zone as a separate 'file'.Įach text zone can be assigned a different language, so that you can switch the dictation language with one click. Each text zone will store and recover its text when you switch it. There are 3 text zones which can be used to work on different projects at the same time. Using this selector you can switch your text zones. Of course you need to be offline for this test !!! If on the left side of the space bar there is a little microphone you can long-press it to see wether or what languages are available. You can test offline support by opening a keyboard (e.g. If you have more than one language configured you need to open the sub menu "Dictation languages" and enable the languages there. ![]() If you have configured only one keyboard language the "Dictation languages" sub menu will not be presented. Please wait until a text occurs below the indicting that the language is available offline (see screenshot on the left). Sometimes on the next day it may work magically. It is a little bit clunky and requires to tweak around with it. Unfortunately there is no feedback from Apple when the process is completed or if it is still running. It takes place in the background and requires a good WIFI connection. Your device will then load offline dictation files from Apple. To setup offline dictation please open the "Settings" App and navigate to "General -> Keyboard". Earlier versions not not support offline dictation ! ![]() The following requires iOS 13.3 on your device. 1/2/2023 0 Comments Life quest gameplay![]() The campaign mode is fun but short at around five hours, as you infiltrate the region of an ex-Soviet general's forces to take out high-value targets without getting spotted. You must strategically paddle through maps, keep an eye out for enemies, and choose whether to sneak past them, shoot objects to distract and blind them, or take them out and potentially bring more enemies into play. The boat portions of video games are generally the worst (hi there, Half-Life 2), so nDreams making an entire game out of stealth kayaking through enemy territory was a bold choice. Michael HicksĪ more stationary, but also more polished, stealth shooter But there remain some bugs and issues with the AI detection that can lead to frustrating moments where you'll say, "How the heck was I spotted?!" If you're not a stealth fan, in particular, Espire 1 may be more miss than hit for you. On the Quest 2, the game has some graphical enhancements to bring it closer to the PSVR port in visuals, and we appreciate the comfort settings that make moving around in VR feel less nauseating. Thankfully, there's a ton of gadgets and weapons that'll add enough variety for fans of the stealth genre. Considering the fairly high price tag, you'll only get your money's worth, so to speak, if you like playing and replaying levels, finding new ways to take out or sneak past enemies, and competing to beat other players' high scores. Using various gadgets and weapons, you'll climb up walls to avoid security cameras, tranquilize guards, tell them to "Freeze!" using the Quest 2's integrated mic, hide bodies before they're spotted, or go nuts with your weapons once an alert is called.Įspire 1: VR Operative has six single-player missions and no multiplayer or challenge modes - and the devs have said they have no plans for new content modes. Whether your stealth shooter game of choice is Splinter Cell, Hitman, or something else, this FPS stealth shooter will scratch that VR itch. Step into the shoes of your favorite secret agent or assassin It'll also scratch that robot-hunting itch until Horizon: Forbidden West comes out. Apex Construct is a great place to start if you're relatively new to VR and want a game that will challenge you without overwhelming you against online opponents. You'll spend hours exploring and re-exploring visually rich environments, looking for clues to solve the game's mysteries. There is a fun survival challenge where you compete against endless enemies and take on the leaderboard, but otherwise, there's no social element to Apex Construct. That being said, this is definitely a single-player, story-driven game. While this isn't a traditional gun-based shooter, the bow motion controls with Touch controllers work excellently, and the lack of headset wires means you can spin to hunt and shoot the robots charging at you from every angle. Thanks to the Quest 2's enhanced power, Goldilocks would say that its Apex Construct port is just right. Then it came to the Quest, where the developers had to significantly devolve the peripheral graphics, audio, and other features to make it portable. When Apex Construct - a post-apocalyptic bow-and-arrow shooter where you fight off robots while searching the remains of civilization for answers - first launched on PSVR, our review said it looked and played well, but the motion controls left much to be desired. ![]() Credits - The team that worked on this guide It was last updated on November 9 with Resident Evil 4 VR (Shooters), Blade & Sorcery: Nomad (Action), and Lone Echo II (Oculus Link). ![]() We update this list regularly with new VR games guaranteed to blow your minds. We've spent a lot of time testing out games, good and bad, to figure out which are the best Oculus Quest 2 games that we'd actually recommend. That's where we come in: Android Central has a staff full of VR fanatics who spend their leisure time blocking out reality with the Oculus Quest 2 - which does run on an Android OS, believe it or not. The fact is, most VR games are short, when what you want is short and sweet. The Oculus Store isn't like Steam, where you can build up huge libraries for cheap and 64GB headset owners have to be careful not to fill up their hard drives with junk. Among the several hundred games and apps on the Oculus Quest storefront, most of them cost between $10 and $40 while only offering about 3 to 5 hours of gameplay on average. ![]() For Revu 2019 and Revu 20, your serial number and product key will automatically assign the correct edition for installation.
